A Year With Jesus by R.P. Nettlehorst

A Year With Jesus is going to be a great devotional for me. Clearly I have not read completely through this book yet but I defiantly plan to. One page, is all that make up your daily reading. The Bible passage is included on this page along with a little excerpt that relates to the passage. The only down fall that I have is that each passage is a different Bible version everyday and it may not be the version that you prefer. However the read is quick, meaningful, and easy especially if you need something to keep your attention while on the go.

Rumors of God

Rumors of God is a truly unique book. It is unlike anything that I have ever read. I could not put it down. Not only did I read it quick so have my friends. Darren Whitehead and Jon Tyson surely give us hope in their story. It is nice to know and be reminded that we can slow down and experience the faith we have all heard about. If you are looking for a good, meaningful that is an inspiring read this is the book for you.

Enemies of the Heart

I could not put down this book. Not only is it a great read there it is also easy to relate to. This book came out of the series It Came From Within by Andy Stanley. When I was in high school my parents care group from church did this study, and the kids along with them. That just goes to show that it is understandable for most ages. Even middle school and 4th and 5th graders would understand what this book has to say.
If you are looking for a great and meaningful read this is the book for you.

The Final Summit

The Final Summit by Andy Andrews is a book about a boy named David Ponder. Humanity is given one last chance and it is up to David to figure out the solution before time runs out. It's an okay read. It took me awhile to get into it. It contains some great lessons and over all, if you like mysteries, this is a book you may enjoy.

To Be Perfetly Honest

To Be Perfectly Honest by Phil Collaway is a great, fun read. It makes the reader wonder how different their life would be if they only just told the truth at all times. How would your life change?
Throughout the book Callaway gives lesson's he has learned when going through the process. All of those lessons are lessons that should be learned and given some thought.
I really enjoyed this book and hope to read more by Callaway very soon.

Out of a Far Country

Out of a Far Country is a life changing book.

It's a story about a young man, Christopher Yuan, and his mother, Angela Yuan, and their journey to Christ and redemption.

The Yuan's give us, the readers, the ultimate testimony of what it is like to find our strength, hope, and life in Christ and Christ alone.

Mothers, Fathers, Brothers, Sisters, Grandparents, Friends, Ministers... ultimately this book should be read by everyone.
The first reason this book should be read by everyone is because the gay community is so prevalent today in this world and sometimes we don't know what to say or how to minister to them. This book is the prefect resource.
Also, to give hope to families and friends of these sinners. We all struggle with different idols and this really puts things in prospective. I know it has for me and has given me great hope.

A wonderful, inspiring, and easy read.

The Liturgical Year by Joan Chittister

The Liturgical Year by Joan Chittister is a book that is exactly as the title describes. This book is set up to help the reader digest and learn about the liturgical year inside and out. Through reading this book I learned a lot of information that I didn’t know before. Most of it I probably should have known. This book was interesting at first but then my interest slowly dissipated. However, I think this is because originally I didn’t pick the book up to learn. I recommend you want to learn and take the time to read in depth before picking up this book. It was a very good read for me, in the end, and I do recommend it to anyone looking to know more about the Christian calendar, no matter what faith.
